Garment Sizing

  Adult T-Shirt art may not fit on both youth T-s and hoods as well as adult hooded sweatshirts due to the sweatshirt pockets and smaller sizes due to the smaller print area.

  There is a minimum of 12 pieces per art size.

  If you are unsure of garment sizing please call for samples.

  Once a garment is printed or personalized the garment is not returnable.

Screen Print Locations

  All pocket size designs, sleeve and leg prints are printed on the Left Side when wearing.

  On a shirt with a pocket the design will be printed on the opposite side of the pocket.

  If there is an unusual print location please let sales staff know to see if location is possible.

  Sweatshirts: Designs are printed 2.25” down from the collar on the Front and 6” down on the  back from where the hood connects to the garment.

  Crewneck T-Shirt: Designs are printed 2.25” from the bottom of the collar on the front and back

-We suggest submitting art by e-mail. Files must be formatted as an EPS, TIFF, or ILLUSTRATOR 7.   JPEG or Microsoft Word files are not acceptable for final art. A JPEG file can be sent to verify the design, colors, or fonts. Make sure all fonts have been converted to outline paths.

-Drawn artwork supplied to us must be drawn on 8.5″ x 11″ typing paper in black & white only; please no halftones or shading. It is ok to include a color version for the artist to look at for color reference. Custom art time will be charged to reproduce pencil sketches.

-Custom art time costs $40 per hour or $10.00 minimum. If an exact reproduction is not necessary, to save you money, we may have clip art that is similar. Remember, there is no extra cost to put your mascot on our designs.

-Artwork sent by fax comes out distorted, e-mailing or mailing your idea works best. Faxed art is not camera-ready, and may result in art charges.

UPS Ground is not guaranteed, only First or Second Day Air. After a package is picked up from RBS, UPS controls delivery time, and we cannot be responsible for late packages. If you need your package faster than UPS Ground is able, you can pay for First or Second Day Air. Costs are as follows:

  • First Day Air Guaranteed: $3.00 per t-shirt, $6.00 per sweatshirt.
  • Second Day Air Guaranteed: $2.00 per T-shirt, $5.00 per sweatshirt.

1. Pricing:

All prices are subject to change without notice. Prices good through the date listed on the front of the catalog. In the event of a mis-print, RBS reserves  the right to correct the error to reflect actual pricing or merchandise. To lock in a price quote, please ask for a written bid.

Re-orders: To receive the same price for a re-order, it must be placed within 2 weeks of the initial order, and must meet the minimum requirements.

2. Shipping:

School and Business UPS Ground: All orders in the continental United States are shipped UPS Ground “Free of Charge” to a school or business (UPS  Ground is not a guaranteed on-time delivery)

Home Shipment (UPS Ground): There will be a nominal fee of $5.00 per box if shipping to a residential home address (UPS Ground is not guaranteed)

Guaranteed Shipping: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Day Air is guaranteed delivery by UPS, which is available at the customer’s expense. Please call our sales department for a shipping quote.

Missing package: Please notify RBS immediately so we can track it with UPS.

3. Cancellation of Order:

If an order is cancelled by the customer, you may be charged a 15% restocking fee for garments and an hourly fee for any artwork that has been completed.

If the design has been e-mailed or sent by mail, and not used within 30 days, the customer will receive a minimum billing of $20.00 on stock designs. Custom designs are billed at a rate of $40.00 per hour.

4. Returned orders/Defects:

All orders are double checked and an Invoice is sent with the order. If you feel you have a discrepancy with your order, please contact us within 3 business days. All of our products are 100% guaranteed, and we offer a no-hassle replacement on defective products. Proof of defect is required before the defective product is replaced.

Personalized items cannot be returned for credit if there is no defect!

5. Supplied Garments:

RBS will print supplied garments on a case per case basis. RBS will not accept responsibility for replacement of the garment if damage occurs during production, as well as washing/drying, etc.

6. Substitutions:

RBS reserves the right to replace a garment when needed with a product of the same quality or better. If you want a specific brand, you must state that at the time of ordering.

7. Names & Numbers:

All names and numbers must be typed out and legible (Excel or Word is preferred). WE WILL NOT ACCEPT HANDWRITTEN NAMES OR NUMERS. Delivery can take up to two weeks. E-mail the list of names/numbers to office@rbsactivewear.com

8. Artwork:

Custom designs may have additional art charges based upon the complexity of the design. Please send or E-mail your custom design to office@rbsactivewear.com for a price quote. Your design is kept on file for two years.

If you would like to see your design prior to printing, RBS will e-mail a color copy for approval (Note: The colors shown on the approval are a close representation, but are not an exact match to the actual ink colors). One revision is allowed per design before additional charges are assessed. A customer is allowed up to 2 designs for approval. Once a design is printed on a shirt, it can not be changed. Artwork faxed to us is not camera ready.    

Art for approval will not be processed unless an order is placed. If a design is sent for approval and never used, you will be billed based on $40.00 per hour. There is no additional charge to use your specific school mascot or simple text/clipart. Screen printed and embroidered designs will be kept on file for a minimum of two years. Custom Artwork: Please call for a quote on custom artwork, a minimum charge of $20.00 will be invoiced on custom art.   

Preferred art files: Vector line art (ai, eps, or pdf) please convert fonts to outlines! Custom art fee of $60.00 per hour.

9. Screen Printing:

There are no additional fees when a stock design is used. (Note: garment minimums applies)

New Order under 12 piece minimum: The customer will be charged a one-time usage fee of $50.00. Custom Art fee for new orders is $60.00 per hour by quote. The customer will be charged $25.00 per location. Additional shipping charges of $15.00 may be applied.

Repeat Order under 12 piece minimum: The customer will be charged $25.00 per location, and  additional shipping chargers of $15.00 may be applied.

Ink color change fee: There will be a $10.00 ink change fee charged if more than 1 ink color change is required due to multiple garment colors.

10. Embroidery:

Orders under 6 pieces will be billed a minimum fee of $25 per location in addition to the garment cost.

There are no additional fees when a stock design is used. (Note: garment minimums applies)

New Order under minimum:  The customer will be charged a minimum of $35.00(digitizing fee) on a stock pocket design or $75.00 for a full size design. Additional shipping charges of $15.00 may be applied.

Repeat Order under minimum: Additional shipping charges of $15.00 may be applied

Custom designs: Custom designs is $60.00 per hour by quote but may have additional charges based upon the complexity of the design. Please send or E-mail your custom design to office@rbsactivewear.com for a price quote.

11. Applique:

There are no additional fees when a stock design is used. (Note: garment minimums applies)

New Order under minimum: The customer will be charged a minimum of $75.00 (digitizing fee) on a stock full size applique design. Additional shipping charges of $15.00 may be applied.

Button Down Jerseys and Jackets – Add $10.00 per garment of split font (Up to 2 colors)

Repeat Order under minimum: Additional shipping charges of $15.00 may be applied.

Custom designs: Custom designs is $60.00 per hour by quote but may have additional charges based upon the complexity of the design. Please send or E-mail your custom design to office@rbsactivewear.com for a price quote.

12. Samples:

If item size, color, style, etc. is a concern, call for samples. Samples must be returned within two weeks of delivery, or the sample cost plus shipping will be billed to the customer.

13. Billing:

ALL ORDERS MUST BE PRE-PAID UNLESS AUTHORIZED. We accept MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. Purchase orders are accepted as pre-payment. Normal billing period is 30 days. Interest will apply after 30 days. 24% APR (2% per month). Note: All delinquent orders (past 90 days) are turned over for collection.

14. Washing Conditions:

To make the print and embroidery last longer, do not wash with bleach. Keep garments out of dryer. (EXTREME DRYER HEAT CAN MELT INK) For best results, turn garments inside out before washing, to prevent damage of the garments imprint by the washer.

15. Legal Statement:

All designs in this catalog are copyrighted materials owned by RBS Activewear. Copying of Reproduction is prohibited by law. Any unauthorized use is subject to prosecution.

We do not keep credit card information on file on our servers. All information is processed and retained by Wind River Financial.
